1 April 2017 – Moss Vale to Fitzroy Falls. A scenic track on the ridge above Kangaroo Valley. NSW has had a very wet March so the track was very boggy. We had to turn around, but not before crossing a large pool of water that turned out to be deeper than it looked. By a stroke of luck we did not get stuck. The return journey was a bit more to the book, keeping two wheels on the dry ground next to the pond.

Had lunch in Robertson (a good burger at Rockabellas Cafe), and then headed to Belmore Falls. Traversed the river on the weir, which is only about 20 metres from the top of the falls. A great spot!

Stayed over in St. Georges Basin.
